Majlis rooms are measured wall by wall. Al Rukn Furniture builds the benches and cushions to sit along them, rather than placing standard sofas and hoping the corners work.
How a majlis set is put together
The base is usually a low upholstered bench running the length of the wall, sometimes with a corner return. Back cushions lean against the wall or a low back panel, and seat cushions sit on top of the base.
Because the bench follows the room, we take the wall run, corners and door clearances as one measurement sheet. Cushions are then cut to that run so the seams land in the same places on every section.

Can you match the fabric to my existing majlis?
We match as closely as the available range allows. Send a photograph of the existing seating in daylight and, if you can, the name or code of the fabric; exact matches depend on whether the original fabric is still produced.
Do you collect and deliver furniture?
Pieces are usually brought to the workshop or collected by arrangement. Once the work is finished the piece can be delivered back, and majlis or fitted items are installed on site. Ask when you request the quotation so transport can be included.
How do I get a price for upholstery work?
Send photographs of the piece and its measurements on WhatsApp, or bring it to the workshop in Al Jerf 1. Upholstery is quoted from the frame, the fabric and the amount of foam being replaced, so the price follows what the piece actually needs.
