Useful questions
Do you measure windows before making curtains?
Yes. Each opening is measured for width, drop and the space needed to stack the curtain, and the track or rail position is agreed at the same visit. Curtains are then made to those measurements instead of being trimmed down from a standard size.
What is the difference between sheer and blackout curtains?
Sheer curtains soften daylight and provide daytime screening while still allowing light into the room. Blackout fabric or lining gives much stronger light control when closed. The result also depends on track position and gaps around the opening.
Can sheer and blackout curtain layers be combined?
Yes. A double track can carry a sheer layer for daytime light and a heavier blackout-lined layer for privacy and stronger light control. Both drops and stack positions are measured together so the layers move without catching.
Do you supply and fit roller blinds?
Roller blinds can be supplied and fitted where they suit the opening and are included in the agreed specification. We first measure the recess or face-fix area and confirm that handles, balcony doors and nearby furniture will not obstruct operation.
